I've spent the past couple of days listening the new Who recording,
Endless Wire. It's their first new recording of a full album in 24 years.
Of course, I'm predisposed to like it, being the fan that I am. It's very much a return to themes they've explored in the past. There's a mini-opera, Wire&Glass, that makes up the bulk of the record.
My favorite song, or at least the one that keeps running through my brain, is A Man In A Purple Dress. I sure wish that
markiv1111 and I could work it up together - I don't think that
joel_rosenberg is up for the guitar work.
I should have the entire album memorized by the time I see them in concert on 12/8 at the Xcel with
joel_rosenberg &
lydy.
