Our dog Shelby, that we got from the Humane Society and whose papers said she was spayed, had gained some weight lately. Just last night we looked at her and said,"She might be pregnant..."
I woke up at 4:09AM to a sound that sounded like a cat being smothered. I got up to see if I had to move the dog and dicovered..
2 puppies.
So much for having been spayed.
Final count is 10 puppies.
Taking them to the vet in 10 minutes.
Oy.
