2011 has been my "horrible year," but I do try to remember the good things that happened.

My relationship with joel_rosenberg was the best it had been in years - we had found each other again. We were in harmony and very happy personally.

He had nothing to be ashamed of and no regrets.

I am so lucky to have had him in my life.

My daughters have been my constant support, especially judyrose1390 - she is my rock.

My friends and family have been amazing.

Had a great road trip to Austin with Judy and Toni to bring back Steve (and his dog and bird).

Had another fun road trip with Joel to Madison and Wisconsin Dells.

Had an unexpected litter of 10 puppies - they've all found good homes.

Got a new job doing something that is important and became an employee again.

My friend Karen being cancer free again.

The birth of a son, Colin, to my friend Dave.

My cat Lisa recovering from her abscess and the extraordinary generosity of her veterinarian.

The great folks on freecycle.

The movies Captain America, Being Elmo, Cowboys and Aliens, The Princess Bride and, of course, Serenity.

I am grateful to everyone who has reached out to my family this year. We would not be doing anywhere near as well as we are without you.
